Online Hack Space for Participatory Artistic Strategies
The sustainability of our digital performance practice was discussed on two levels: Which encounters, which accesses and which possibilities of participation do virtual and hybrid spaces allow? And how can we implement our projects in a socially and ecologically resource-friendly way? Together, we explored which artistic themes, forms and ways of working are of significance for the free contemporary digital performance arts in perspective and beyond the pandemic.
During the Online Hack Space - curated by Jeanne Charlotte Vogt - five groups experienced impulses on digital participatory art together with the HAU4 audience, exchanged ideas with each other and worked in various workshops on their project ideas with which they had previously applied for the Online Hack Space. At the end of the five-day event, the participants presented their concept, after which a jury selected two groups for a subsequent residency.
