An immersive, multi-sensory project designed to train the complex operations involving fire department turntable ladders with high efficiency.
We designed the Virtual Turntable Ladder to give firefighters an efficient alternative to resource-intensive aerial-ladder drills. Fast communication and confident decision-making under intense pressure are often what decides an operation — and with our immersive application, both can be trained almost as realistically as in the field. That's because we don't just engage the eyes, but every other sense as well: heat, cold, wind, smell, ambient soundscape and haptics.

Endlessly variable scenarios keep every session new and compelling. Powered by AI, lifelike avatars make each deployment as true to reality as otherwise only the very best large-scale exercises can. And from the recordings, training officers can draw new didactic insights, document and standardize individual learning progress, and scale it into other areas of firefighter training.
